Nighttime Street Sweeping along I-84 in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing an overnight street sweeping project on I-84 eastbound and westbound, Thursday, December 7, to Friday, December 8, 2017, between Exits 17 and 22. Work hours will be 8 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

Impact Attenuators, signing patterns, and cones will be utilized to guide motorists through the worksite.  Traffic will be alternating from left lane to right lane. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
