Beginning on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 10:00 p.m. and continuing through Monday, June 19 at 5:00 p.m., the existing Island Road railroad grade crossing in Windsor will be closed to through traffic to accommodate track construction and roadway paving.

Traffic personnel will be in place throughout the duration of the road closure. Signs, variable message boards and detour routes alerting the public of the closure will be posted on-site prior to the closure.

There will be construction noise throughout this period and temporary lighting to support overnight work in the area.
