Resurfacing of Route 8 (Colebrook River Rd.) in Colebrook

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 3.42-mile segment of Route 8 (Colebrook River Road) in Colebrook, Monday, August 28, through Wednesday, September 30, 2017. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 8 (Colebrook River Rd.) between the Massachusetts State Line and 0.3 miles north of Sandy Brook.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
