Resurfacing Project along Route 187 (North Main St.) East Granby & Suffield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Rt. 187 (North Main St.) in East Granby and Suffield, beginning Wednesday,

August 2, 2017. 

The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 7.25 mile segment of Rt. 187 (North Main Street), in East Granby and Suffield. This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, August 1, 2017 to Thursday August 24, 2017.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 187 (North Main St.) between Rt. 20 (Rainbow Rd.) and the Massachusetts State Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday) Start time of 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on August 1, 10, 11, 2017 @ Rt. 20 Intersection

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
