The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling, reclaiming and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 272 (Litchfield Rd.) in Goshen and Norfolk, beginning Thursday, August 3, 2017.
The project consists of milling, reclaiming and resurfacing a 3.98 mile segment of Route 272 (Litchfield Rd.) in Goshen and Norfolk. This project is scheduled to occur from Thursday, August 3, 2017 through Thursday, August 31, 2017. Reclaiming will take place Thursday, August 10, 2017 to Thursday, August 17, 2017 from Bruey Rd. to Parker Hill Rd.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 272 (Litchfield Rd.) between Route 263 (Winchester Rd.) and Bruey Rd. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
