The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the third of five scheduled weekend closures of Route 7 in Ridgefield to facilitate ongoing bridge construction activities.  The closure will begin on Friday, August 18, 2017, at 8:00 PM and end on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 6:00 AM. Traffic will be detoured via Route 35 and Route 102.

The project consists of the replacement of bridge 02029, route 7 over the Norwalk River. DOT Project No. 0117-0157 was awarded to New England Infrastructure, Inc. at a cost of $3,489,712.00 on March 3, 2016 and is scheduled to be completed by September 18, 2017.
