A Closure of the I-95 Northbound Exit 44 On-Ramp from Ella T. Grasso Boulevard is Scheduled on Sunday Night, June 3, 2018, at 9:00 PM to Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at 6:00 AM in New Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a closure of the I-95 northbound Exit 44 on-ramp from Ella T. Grasso Boulevard is scheduled to begin on Sunday night, June 3, 2018.
The closure of the I-95 northbound Exit 44 on-ramp from Ella T. Grasso Boulevard is necessary in order to safely restore this ramp to its final alignment due to previous temporary safety improvements during stage construction. The ramp will be closed from 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018, to 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
A detour route for traffic trying to access I-95 Northbound at this location has been established. From Ella T. Grasso Boulevard, traffic will be diverted to I-95 southbound to Exit 43 (1st Avenue) and then to the I-95 northbound on-ramp at the same interchange.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
