Beam End Repair and Bearing Replacement of Four Bridges on Routes 15, 8, and 25 in Orange, Bridgeport and Trumbull

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work on multiple bridge preservation projects in the towns of Milford, Wallingford and Trumbull.

The project involves jacking existing bridge beams, replacing bridge bearings, repairing bridge decks as well as structural steel repairs. The work will take place on the following structures:

Bridge No. 00764, Orange, Derby-Milford Road over Route 15
Bridge No. 00765, Orange, Route 121 over Route 15
Bridge No. 03544, Bridgeport, Lafayette Square over Route 8
Bridge No. 03769, Trumbull, Old Town Road over Route 25 Southbound

DOT Project No. 0173-0464 was awarded to New England Road, Inc. of Clinton, CT on December 4, 2017, at a cost of $ 3,430,808.00 and is scheduled for completion on June 27, 2019.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

There will be nightly lane closures on I-95, Rte. 25, Rte. 8 and Rte. 25, at various times.
