Bridge Resurfacing Project, I-395 NB & SB in Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge resurfacing project will beperformed on I-395 in Killingly, beginning Wednesday, September 5, 2018.

The project consists of resurfacing three bridges that are located on I-395 northbound and southbound in Killingly. The bridge resurfacing is anticipated to be performed on Wednesday, September 5, and Thursday,September 6, 2018, with a rain date of Friday, September 7, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-395 NB from Whetstone Bridge to the Putnam Town Line and I-395 SB from the Putnam Town Line to Whetstone Bridge in Killingly.  Two (2) state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
