Guiderail Upgrade on Route 71 in Berlin

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that guiderail upgrades will be performed on Route 71 in Berlin, beginning Thursday, December 27, 2018.

The project consists of upgrading guiderail over a 0.02-mile segment of Route 71 in Berlin. This work is anticipated to begin and end on Thursday December 27, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 71 in Berlin in the area of .5 miles South of Norton Road on Thursday December 27, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
