I-95 Southbound Exit 84 Nighttime Ramp Closures
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the nightly closures of Exit 84, I-95 southbound off-ramp to Route 32 and Downtown New London. The exit will be closed nightly Monday through Friday, 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, beginning April 9, 2018, and continue through April 20, 2018, as part of the ongoing I-95 southbound Gold Star Bridge rehabilitation project, in Groton and New London. A signed detour will be maintained while the ramp is closed.
RAMP CLOSURE INFO:
Exit 84 Traffic shall be detoured to Exit 83 (N Frontage Road) to Briggs Street. At the traffic signal at the end of the ramp, Route 32 traffic will take a left at the signal to Route 32. Downtown New London traffic will also take a left at the end of the ramp, but then take a right at Williams Street, and then a left at Broad Street to Downtown New London.
