Illumination Repair along I-95 in Fairfield and Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an illumination repair project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Fairfield and Bridgeport, beginning Saturday, August 18, 2018.

The project consists of street lighting repair on I-95 NB & SB in Fairfield and Bridgeport.  This project is scheduled to occur Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Sunday, August 19, 2018.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This work is being performed by state forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on I-95 NB & SB in Fairfield and Bridgeport between Exit 22 (Round Hill Road) and Exit 31 (Surf Avenue).  A moveable sign pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
