Lighting Repairs along Route 8 Northbound and Southbound in Bridgeport and Trumbull

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an illumination repair project will be performed on Route 8 northbound and southbound in Bridgeport and Trumbull on Saturday and Sunday, November 17-18, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 8 Northbound & Southbound in Bridgeport and Trumbull between Exit 5 (SR 722, Chopsy Hill Road) and Exit 10 (SB Exit to Route 15). A moveable sign pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
