Mechanical Repairs on Route 82 Swing Bridge in East Haddam and Haddam

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a repair project will be performed on the East Haddam Swing Bridge carrying Route 82 over the Connecticut River in the towns of East Haddam and Haddam, beginning Friday, January 26, 2018.

The project consists of emergency mechanical repairs to Bridge #01138 carrying Route 82 over the Connecticut River between Haddam and East Haddam.  This emergency repair is scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect the alternating one way traffic pattern across the East Haddam Bridge carrying Route 82 in the towns of East Haddam and Haddam. Traffic control personnel, variable message board, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 but may vary.
