Milling and Centerline Rumble Strip Installation along Route 140 in East Windsor 

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the installation of a centerline rumble strip on Route 140 in East Windsor on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 140 from 900' east of U.S. Route 5 (Prospect Hill Road) to 25' south of Melrose Road. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in case of rain work will be performed 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
