Milling and Resurfacing along Route 146 in Branford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 146 in Branford, beginning Friday, May 18, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing 2.16 miles of Route 146 in Branford. This project is scheduled to occur Friday, May 18, 2018 through Monday, June 4, 2018. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Friday, May 18, 2018 through Wednesday, May 23, 2018. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 through Friday, June 1, 2018.
No work will occur during the Memorial Day weekend from Friday morning May 25, 2018 through Monday,
May 28, 2018. Work will resume on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 146 from Montowese Street (Local) to Ninth Avenue (Pvt). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
