Milling and Resurfacing along Route 169 in Woodstock
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 169 in Woodstock, beginning Monday, October 8, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 6.93 mile segment of Route 169 in Woodstock. The milling segment for this project is scheduled for Monday, October 8, 2018, through Friday, October 12, 2018. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Monday, October 15, 2018, through Tuesday, October 30, 2018.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO:
Motorists can expect lane closures to occur on Route 169 in Woodstock from the Route 171 end overlap to the MA State Line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
