Milling and Resurfacing along Route 176 (Main Street) in Newington

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 1.20 mile section of Route 176 (Main Street) in Newington, Tuesday, May 15, through Friday, May 25, 2018. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 176 (Main St.) in Newington from Route 15 (Berlin Turnpike) to .03 miles south of Route 287 (East Robbins Ave.).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
