Milling and Resurfacing along Route 44 in Winchester
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 44 in Winchester, beginning Monday April 30, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.67 mile segment of Route 44 in Winchester. This project is scheduled to occur from Monday, April 30, 2018 to Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on Rt. 44 between the west junction of Route 183 (Coe St.) and the Colebrook town line. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday)
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
