Milling and Resurfacing Project along Aircraft Road in Middletown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Aircraft Road (SR410) in Middletown beginning Sunday, May 6, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.28 mile segment of SR410 (Aircraft Rd.) in Middletown. The milling portion of this project is scheduled to begin on Sunday, May 6, 2018 to Sunday, May 13, 2018. The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to begin on Monday, May 14, 2018 to Tuesday, May 22, 2018.
This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 Vendor Resurfacing Program.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
Motorists can expect lane closures on SR410 in Middletown from Route 154 to the end of Route 410 (Entrance to Pratt & Whitney). Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
