Closures of the I-95 SB Exit 44 Off-Ramp to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard are Scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday Night, June 25, 2018, and Tuesday night, June 26, 2018, in New Haven

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that closures of the I-95 SB Exit 44 off-ramp to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard are scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. on Monday night, June 25, 2018, and Tuesday night, June 26, 2018, in New Haven. 

The closures of the I-95 SB Exit 44 off-ramp to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard are necessary in order to perform final paving operations on Ella T. Grasso Boulevard while maintaining safe conditions for motorists and work crews and to protect newly installed bituminous concrete during the curing process.  

Traffic will be diverted to I-95 SB Exit 43 (1st Avenue) and then to the I-95 NB Exit 44 off-ramp to Ella T. Grasso Boulevard.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
