MOTORIST ADVISORY – Early Lane Closures on I-95 Northbound and I-95 Southbound Between Exits 42 and 46 are Scheduled at Night from Sunday, May 13, 2018, Through Friday, June 29, 2018, in New Haven and West Haven
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that early lane closures on I-95 between Exits 42 and 46 are scheduled from Sunday night, May 13, 2018, through Friday, June 29, 2018, in the towns of New Haven and West Haven.
The early lane closures are necessary to perform final milling, paving and pavement markings across all lanes of I-95 between Exits 43 and 46. The early lane closures are as follows:
- Close one lane of I-95 NB at 9:00 p.m. and two lanes at 10:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday nights and on Sunday nights.
- Close two lanes of I-95 SB at 10:00 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday nights.
- Close one lane of I-95 SB at 9:00 p.m. and two lanes at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday and Sunday nights.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
