Nighttime Bridge Inspection on I-84 Westbound to Route 8 Southbound Ramp in Waterbury

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that routine nighttime bridge inspection work will be performed on I-84 westbound from Exit 19 to the Route 8 southbound ramp in Waterbury on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, weather permitting.

This section of I-84 will be closed to traffic during the inspection process – 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

A detour route will be established around this location and will be in effect during the scheduled work hours only.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
