Nighttime Bridge Maintenance along I-95 in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Milford beginning Monday, September 24, 2018.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on I-95 NB and SB, Bridge #00149 (Rt. 1 overpass) and   Bridge #00151 (Indian River overpass) in Milford. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m.   to 5:00 a.m. Monday, September 24, 2018 to the morning of Friday, October 12, 2018. 

This work is being performed by state forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect various lane closures on I-95 NB and SB between Exit 38 (Route 15) and Exit 41 (Marsh Hill Road) in Milford.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to   5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings)

No lane closures will occur from 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2018 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday,    October 9, 2018. 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
