Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on I-95 Northbound in Bridgeport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-95 northbound in Bridgeport, beginning Monday, November 26, 2018.

This is Bridge  No. 00111A (Bridgeport Harbor overpass) in Bridgeport. This project is scheduled to occur from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 26, 2018 to the morning of Friday, December 7, 2018.

The work is being performed by State Forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB between Exit 26 (Wordin Avenue) and Exit 28 (Rte. 127 East Main Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
