Nighttime Bridge Maintenance on Route 15 (Merritt Parkway) in Norwalk

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will continue on Route 15 Merritt Parkway in Norwalk through Friday, November 2, 2018.

Work hours are 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Monday, September 17, 2018 to the morning of Friday, November 2, 2018. 

This project is included in the Department of Transportation’s 2018 bridge maintenance program to support state forces with bridge repairs and is being performed by Dynamic Surface Application.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 NB & SB in Norwalk between Exit 38 (New Canaan Ave.) and Exit 39A (Route 7 South) in Norwalk. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday through Thursday evenings)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
