Nighttime Milling and Surface Treatment on Route 3 southbound Ramp to I-91 southbound in Wethersfield

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 0.6-mile segment of Route 3 southbound ramp to I-91 southbound in Wethersfield, Thursday, May 31, and Friday, June 1, 2018. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect the Route 3 southbound to I-91 southbound ramp in Wethersfield to be closed and a signed detoured to be implemented during the milling and resurfacing work.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists along the detour.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

DETOUR INFORMATION

• Route 3 southbound will be directed to continue on Route 3 south, left onto Route 99, and right to I-91 southbound.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
