Nighttime Pavement Marking Projects on Roads in Eastern Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime pavement marking project will be performed on various state routes in Eastern Connecticut beginning Sunday, September 23, 2018.

The project consists of epoxy pavement-marking applications on longlines and handwork on Sate Routes within District 2.  This project is scheduled to occur from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018, to the morning of Friday, November 9, 2018. 

LANE CLOSURE INFO:

This moving operation will use the proper crash attenuator vehicles.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone as needed.  The work schedule for this nighttime project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday evening – Friday morning)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
