Nighttime Resurfacing Project on Route 66 in Middletown and Middlefield
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 66 in Middletown and Middlefield beginning Sunday, August 26, 2018.
The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 3.65 mile segment of Route 66 in Middletown and Middlefield. The milling portion of this project is scheduled for Sunday, August 26, 2018. The resurfacing portion of this project is anticipated to begin September 18, 2018.
Lane Closure Information
Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 66 EB and WB from .23 miles east of Camp Street to .12 miles east of the WB Exit 13 off-ramp. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday).
