Overnight Bridge Maintenance on I-395 in Killingly

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-395 Southbound in Killingly, overnight Friday, June 1, to Saturday, June 2 2018. Work hours will be 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The project consists of bridge maintenance on the I-395 Route 6 overpass (Bridge #0500 ) in Killingly.

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-395 southbound from Exit 37B (old Exit 91W) to Route 6 westbound and Exit 37A (old Exit 91W) to Route 6 eastbound in Killingly.  Two state troopers, crash attenuator vehicles, and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The work schedule for this nighttime project is from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
