      Pavement Markings Project along Various Routes in Southwest Connecticut

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that an epoxy pavement markings project will continue on various routes in southwest Connecticut through Friday, May 18, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

The work will be performed utilizing a moving operation with intermittent closures of lanes to complete this work. Please use caution around this operation as these vehicles will be moving slower than posted speeds. The regular work schedule for this project is on 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday - Thursday evenings).

Segments of the following routes are included in this project: Route 25 in Trumbull and Monroe; Route 53 in Norwalk; Route 53 in Weston; Route 59 in Easton and Monroe; Route 135 in Fairfield; Route 136 in Westport; and SR 732 in Fairfield.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
