Paving of Roundabout at the Intersection of Routes 110 and 111 - Significant Delays are Expected and Motorists are Urged to Seek Alternative Routes
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that paving of the newly established roundabout at the intersection of Routes 110 and 111 in Monroe will be performed beginning on July 16, 2018, and ending by July 20, 2018. Significant delays are expected. Motorists are strongly advised to seek alternative routes.
Motorists can expect lane closures and alternating one-way traffic on Route 111 between Jeanette Street and Moose Hill Road and on Route 110 between Moose Hill Rd and Route 111. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday through Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and to utilize caution through this and all other construction work zones.
