New Haven-Hartford-Springfield (NHHS) Rail Program
Construction Update: Town of Windsor
(Railroad Crossing Work: Paving Schedule – Weekday/Daytime Work)
April 30 – May 4, 2018
Beginning Monday, April 30th and concluding by Friday, May 4th, there will be surface milling and final paving work at various railroad crossings in Windsor. This will require one-way traffic and/or road closures and will occur daily during the hours of 6:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
This work will occur at the Meadow Road, East Barber Street, Island Road and Central Street railroad crossings.
Traffic personnel will be in place throughout the duration of the detours/closures. Signs, variable message boards and detour routes alerting the public of the detour/closure will be posted on-site.

This work is part of the overall upgrade of the New Haven-Hartford-Springfield rail line –branded as the CTrail Hartford Line – scheduled to begin expanded service in June 2018.
