The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the start of work for the  rehabilitation of Bridge  00807, Ridge Road over Route 15, in Wethersfield.

The overall scope of rehabilitation consists of the relocation of the gas and water main, removal of existing knee walls, deck patching, and substructure repairs as required.  The roadway on top of the bridge will be completely reconstructed along with the existing parapets, and sidewalks.

DOT Project No. 0159-0189 was awarded to Rotha Contracting Company of Avon, CT at a cost of $2,079,616.38 on November 20, 2017, and is scheduled to be completed on November 30, 2018.

5/15 Northbound & Southbound:
Monday through Friday (Daytime): 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Monday through Friday (Nighttime): 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 AM to 12:00 AM

Ridge Road:
One-way alternating vehicular traffic controlled by temporary signalization for the duration of the project.

Oakdale Street:
Westbound portion will be closed at the intersection with Ridge Road during stage construction.

DETOUR INFO
Westbound portion of Oakdale Street will closed during stage construction and shall not exceed 217 consecutive days.

Route 15 vertical clearance will be reduced to 13’-4” due to anticipated work.
