Resurfacing Project on Route 162 in Milford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 162 in Milford, beginning Tuesday, October 9, 2018.

The project consists of milling and resurfacing 1.71 miles of Route 162 in Milford.  This project is scheduled to occur Tuesday, October 9, 2018 through Monday, October 22, 2018. The milling segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 through Monday, October 15, 2018.  The resurfacing segment of this project is anticipated to be performed on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 through Monday, October 22, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 162 from Eels Hill Road to Anderson Avenue.  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
