The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a road closure is scheduled for Route 534 (Camp Meeting Road) and Birch Mountain Road in Manchester on August 4, 2018,  from  7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The closure is necessary to facilitate the ongoing construction of the pedestrian bridge spanning Camp Meeting Road on the Charter Oak Greenway shared use path. 

Route 534 (Camp Meeting Road) will be closed at Birch Mountain Road between Porter Street and Carter Street beginning Saturday August 4, 2018, at 7:00 AM  until 9:00 PM. Traffic driving Westbound on Camp Meeting Road will proceed northbound on Route 85 (Clark Hill Road) and continue to the I-384 westbound on-ramp until Exit 4 (Highland Street). Traffic driving eastbound on Camp Meeting Road will be directed south onto Wyllys Street and then proceed onto the I-384 eastbound on-ramp until Exit 5 (Route 85). Signage will be posted to guide motorists through the detoured route.
