                                          Surveying along I-95 in Branford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a surveying operation will be performed on I-95 northbound and southbound in Branford, Saturday and Sunday, January 27-28, 2018. Work hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This survey work is being completed in advance of DOT Project Number 14-185, the replacement of Bridge No. 00196 over Route 1.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound in Branford between Exit 54 (SR 740, Cedar Street) and Exit 56 (Leetes Island Road).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
