Thin Surface Treatment on I-84 WB HOV Lane in East Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on a 0.44-mile segment of the I-84 westbound HOV lane in East Hartford on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect the HOV lane to be closed on I-84 WB in East Hartford from west of the Robert Street overpass to east of the access from northbound US 5 (Main Street).  Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Saturday)

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
