Tree Removal along Route 15 in Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a tree removal operation will be performed on the Wilbur Cross Parkway (Route 15) northbound and southbound in Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden, beginning Saturday, August 18, 2018.

The project consists of cutting dead trees, high limbing and clearing signs which will be performed on Route 15 NB & SB in Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden.  This project is scheduled to occur Saturday, August 18, 2018 and Sunday, August 19, 2018.  The regular work schedule for this project is from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The tree removal operation will be performed by state forces.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 15 NB & SB between Exit 57 (Route 34) and Exit 60 (Route 10, Dixwell Avenue) in Orange, Woodbridge, New Haven and Hamden.  A moveable sign pattern will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
