Upcoming Nightly Closures of the Morgan Street On-Ramp to I-84 Eastbound scheduled May 22, 2018, to May 24, 2018, in Hartford
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing the nightly closure and detour of the Morgan Street on-ramp to I-84 Eastbound in the City of Hartford from May 22, 2018 to May 24, 2018 weather dependent.
The nightly closures are necessary as part of the rehabilitation of bridge 01428D over I-91 northbound, US Route 44 eastbound and the Connecticut River. The Morgan Street on-ramp to I-84 eastbound will be closed from 9:00 p.m. to 5 a.m. to allow various operations associated with the $1,633,900.90 bridge rehabilitation project being constructed by McNamee Construction Corporation.
Ramp Closure and Detour Information
The on-ramp from Morgan Street to I-84 eastbound will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting May 22, 2018 to May 24, 2018.
Motorists wanting to enter I-84 eastbound from Morgan Street will be directed to take a right on to Columbus Boulevard and left on to Route 2 (Founders Bridge) to I-84 eastbound.
