Hartford, Conn.  -  Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that traffic will be detoured on Route 372 in connection with the replacement of the AMTRAK Bridge over Route 372, in Berlin.

Detour will be implemented on Tuesday October 18 through Thursday October 20, 2005, from 10 PM to 6 AM, to allow for sewer construction in area of Depot Road and the Route 372 Intersection and will result in closing the stretch of Route 372 between Burnham Street and Main Street.  Detour Signs will be installed and Police Officers will be on duty to help guide motorists.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and obey the posted speed limits.  They should drive carefully through this construction zone and all other work areas.
