Hartford, Conn. -- State Transportation Commissioner Stephen E. Korta, II announced today an upcoming ramp closure on I-84 in Waterbury.
The I-84 westbound on-ramp from Austin Road (Exit 25A) will be closed on Wednesday, November 9th from 9 a.m. until 12 Noon for paving.
This ramp closure is part of the widening and interchange improvement projects on I-84 in Cheshire and Waterbury. The projects will result in an additional lane in each direction between I-691 in Cheshire and just east of Exit 25 (Scott Road) in Waterbury. Several interchange ramps will be improved and relocated, and new ramps will be built at Austin Road (Exit 25A).
