All Three Lanes Opened to Traffic Route 15 Northbound Sikorsky Bridge
Stratford/Milford Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that all lanes are now open to traffic on Route 15 northbound at the Sikorsky Bridge. Up to this point the exit only (right) lane had been closed until the necessary signing and safety items were in place.
The Sikorsky Bridge now carries two thru lanes and an exit only lane in both directions and should allow for better movement of traffic in the area. The southbound exit only lane is for traffic exiting to Route 110 and northbound for traffic exiting onto Daniel Wasson Connector.
Some final paving and other work to complete the project still remains but will only require temporary lane closures during off-peak hours.
Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and proceed with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
