Public Information Meeting – Proposed Design Plans for Route 31 in the Town of Coventry, Connecticut.
NEWINGTON, The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that a public informational meeting concerning the proposed improvements to Route 31 will be held January 21, 2009 at the Coventry High School at 78 Ripley Hill Road, Coventry, Connecticut
Representatives from the Department of Transportation will be available at 6:30 p.m. to answer any questions, with a formal presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m. Proposed improvements to Route 31 (Main Street) through the Town of Coventry are from just west of the intersection of Route 275 (Stonehouse Road)/Lake Street to just east of the intersection of Woods Lane, a length of approximately 4200 feet. Residents, commuters, business owners, and other interested individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn of and discuss the proposed work. Plans are available for review at the Coventry Town Hall – Town Clerk’s Office.
