The 2009 seasonal opening of the Rocky Hill - Glastonbury Ferry will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2009, instead of the previously announced May 1, 2009.

The one day postponement is the result of delays in completing the road and ramp work due to the recent high water levels of the Connecticut River. The repair work is expected to be completed sometime Friday, May 1, allowing the ferry to begin operations on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
