NEW SCHEDULE FOR NEW HAVEN/HARTFORD EXPRESS BUS

EFFECTIVE JULY 14, 2014

      The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced today that a new schedule for the #20 New Haven/Hartford Express bus will take effect beginning on Monday, July 14, 2014. 

      The schedule change was based on feedback received from passengers of the route. The major change will be to re-direct the buses in downtown New Haven.  Southbound trips will circulate via Temple Street and northbound trips will circulate via Church Street. It is anticipated that this change will improve the on-time performance of the route.

      “The minor schedule and route adjustments were made at the request of our passengers,” stated CTDOT Commissioner James Redeker. “We feel confident that these adjustments will be well-received and will attract new ridership for this valuable service.” 

      The #20 New Haven/Hartford Express bus serves commuters between Hartford and New Haven with additional stops in North Haven, Middletown, and Wethersfield.
