Bus Transit Services Suspended for this Afternoon, February 9, 2017

New Haven Line Rail Service Continues with Delays

    The Connecticut Department of Transportation and CTtransit, operator of bus services around the state, have announced that bus service is suspended this afternoon (Thursday, February 9) because of the severe winter weather.

     Service will be suspended shortly after noon across Connecticut, including CTfastrak in central Connecticut.

        CTDOT will continue to assess the weather and road conditions and make a decision on the resumption of service as the day progresses.

     Commuter rail service continues on the New Haven Line and Shore Line East with delays and some cancelations. There is no service today on the Amtrak line between New Haven and Springfield; normal service on that line will resume on Friday, February 10.
