The Community Connectivity Grant Program (CCGP) is a competitive grant program developed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department), that provides construction funding to municipalities for initiatives that will improve accessibility and mobility for active transportation modes. These improvements will make Connecticut’s city, town and community centers more vibrant, safe and attractive places to live and work. Funding is provided for construction activities only.

The Transportation Rural Improvement Grant Program, (TRIP) is a competitive grant program developed by the Connecticut Department of Transportation (Department) to provide state funds to municipal governments to improve the transportation Infrastructure in Connecticut’s Rural and Small Towns. Activities may include capital projects such as construction, modernization, or major repair of the transportation infrastructure. Funding is provided for construction activities only.
