Connecticut Veterans Affairs is committed to providing comprehensive support to those who have served our country. Our residential programs help achieve this mission. They give Veterans the opportunity for rehabilitation and recovery in a supportive community environment.

CT Veterans can apply for temporary housing and support through two programs on our Rocky Hill campus:

• Residential Facility
• Patriots’ Landing

The Veterans Affairs Residential Facility offers temporary, supportive living in a community setting.

Our mission is to help Veterans and families obtain the necessary benefits, skills, and resources they need to secure permanent housing. Veterans at the facility set goals and objectives that will help them successfully return to independent living.

Residential Staff work on-site to support all Residential Facility programming. This team includes:

• Veteran Residential Facility workers
• Social workers
• Vocational rehabilitation coordinator
• Therapeutic recreation therapist
• Case managers

The Residential Facility offers a variety of rehabilitation services and programs, within a community living environment. These include, but are not limited to:

• Employment and education resources
• Social work and case management
• Recovery support
• Other supportive services and programs

Patriots’ Landing is our residential program that aims to provide a temporary, safe and secure environment for CT’s Veterans, their spouses, and children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Patriots’ Landing has five fully furnished single-family homes. Each features:

• Three bedrooms with bedding
• Furniture for all living spaces
• Washer and dryer
• Full kitchen with kitchen supplies

In addition to housing, Patriots’ Landing program provides residents with supportive services enabling them to achieve life goals.
