What does Governor Ned Lamont issue Proclamations for?

If you’d like to request a proclamation from Governor Ned Lamont, you must be a Connecticut resident. Besides being a Connecticut resident, you’ll also want to make sure you meet the following requirements: 

• Please be sure to submit your request at least four weeks prior but no more than three months before the due date
• Please provide language to use in your proclamation
• Please limit your organization’s requests to three per calendar year

It’s important to note that proclamations are not automatically reissued each year and have to be requested on an annual basis.
